Hospital series products are designed for the prevention of venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism during and after surgical treatment, including long-term hospital stay. They are looser structures, more “breathable”, do not cause sweating and discomfort even in warm conditions of an inpatient setting. Flat seam technology helps to avoid the risk of abrasions and impressions, which is essential for immobilised patients. An “opening” is created in the foot part, which facilitates the connection of diagnostic equipment and permits the assessment of peripheral blood circulation.
